Become a Rotarian

Alfreton Rotary like all Rotary clubs in the UK has moved into the 21st century.

No longer must we use our much valued time with weekly meetings, or have a meal and be restricted with old fashioned dress codes and habits.

The new Rotary is looking for people who want to be involved in helping our local communities through their own efforts. The new rotary looks to utilise all methods of communication from Facebook to Facetime, e mails to Twitter.

The only need is that New Rotarians meet our 4 Rotary principles which have been developed over the years to provide a strong, common purpose and direction.

  • The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
  • High ethical standards in business and professional life;
  • The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;
  • The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through world fellowship.
