About our Club

The Rotary Club of Alfreton is part of one of the largest international humanitarian organisation in the world and was established in 1938.

The Club draws its members from Alfreton and the surrounding areas of Amber Valley, Derbyshire.

Our members are from all walks of life and both men and women are welcome.

The club meets on most Monday lunchtimes where guest speakers are received and the Club plans it’s charitable fundraising events. Other social meetings, outings and events take place during both daytime and during the evening.

The club aim is to provide a rewarding experience for it’s members, and with 1,200,000 Rotarians throughout the world – we help people and communities locally, nationally and internationally.

See the section on ‘Join Us’ for information on how to become a Rotarian.
